Course Overview
This is an introductory course on Univeral Design for Learning (UDL) developed using Accessibility Toolkit – 2nd Edition by Amanda Coolidge, Sue Doner, Tara Robertson, and Josie Gray and published by BCcampus under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 Licence.
Learning Outcomes
  1. Analyze the social model of disability and three UDL principles
  2. Explain the rationale for using UDL in course design.
  3. Demonstrate an understanding of how people use assistive technologies to access learning materials.
  4. Describe the mediums for creating accessible resources.
  5. Explain how universal design for learning and accessibility complement each other.
